Brothers Grimm’s “Maid Maleen” Summary Pt. 3: Third Location, Necklace Gift, Identity Test and Reveal of Ugly Princess (Clip)

After Maid Maleen passes the third location, a church door, and sings her ditty, the prince gives her a necklace. When she returns to the ugly princess, she returns everything but that.  The ugly princess conceals herself on the wedding night and the prince administers an identity test.  He asks her about the locations and the princess dismisses the questions before going back to Maid for the answer, threatening her life the third time.  But the prince is still suspicious so he asks about the necklace and reveals her true identity.  She orders her guards to kill MM but the prince saves her.
